Danville Receives State Money for Flood Protection Project

DANVILLE, Pa. -- A borough in Montour County is getting help to pay for an ongoing flood protection project.

Danville received $200,000 in state money for the flood mitigation project along Mahoning Creek.

Officials say the money will be used to remove sediment so the creek doesn't overflow.
