SCRANTON, Pa. -- Another school in our area has closed its doors due to air quality issues.
Administrators at Neil Armstrong Elementary School in Scranton say they are postponing the first day of school until Tuesday, September 11 for the health and safety of their students and staff.
The district hopes the air quality issue is resolved by Monday so that teachers could return that afternoon to prepare.
