LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- A garden was given to a community in Lycoming County all thanks to a young girl.
Ninth grader Katy Schon created the butterfly garden at the Loyalsock Township Middle School. She gave it to the school as part of a Girl Scout project.
A dedication ceremony on Saturday included a butterfly release.
