Banners in Lackawanna County to Honor Veterans

DUNMORE, Pa. -- Veterans are being honored in part of Lackawanna County.

Dunmore's DPW was out on Thursday hanging hometown heroes banners.

Each banner either honors or memorializes a borough resident who served in the military.

Families paid for the banners.

A total of 155 banners will be put up in Lackawanna County.
