Lightning Strikes Utility Pole in Lackawanna County

MADISON TOWNSHIP, Pa. -- Some strong storms passed through northeastern and central Pennsylvania Tuesday evening.

State police in Lackawanna County say lightning struck a utility pole on Reservoir Road in Madison Township.

The pole was shattered, and part of it fell on a car.

No one was hurt.
