28th Annual Forksville Powwow
The 28th Annual Forksville Powwow will be held on Father’s Day weekend, June 16-17. Gates open at 10 a.m. at the Sullivan County Fairgrounds and the grand entry is scheduled at Noon both days. Veterans and service members will be honored during opening ceremonies. Sunday, bring your dad in for the Father’s Day Dance. Admission is $8 and children 12 and under are free.
Warren Center Fireman’s Field Days
The Warren Center Fireman’s Annual Field Days fundraiser will be held at the Warren Township Community Center Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16. Midway opens at 6 p.m. Friday and Noon on Saturday and the parade begins at 7 p.m. $25 will be given to each float entered with prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.There will also be a Chinese auction and you do not have to be present to win.
