POTTSVILLE -- A dog is fighting for his life after he was deliberately shot in the face, according to officials at an animal shelter in Schuylkill County.
According to Hillside SPCA, the owner brought the dog to them after someone shot him Saturday night. The owner couldn't afford the medical costs.
The dog, named Diddy, is currently in critical condition and is also suffering from aspiration pneumonia, Hillside officials said.

Hillside officials tell Newswatch 16 police in Pottsville are investigating and that someone has been arrested for the shooting.
