CLINTON TOWNSHIP -- Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian in Wayne County.
A woman was killed before 10 a.m. Tuesday on Route 170 in the Prompton area.
Vera Lamberton, 89, of South Canaan, was struck and killed near the intersection with Wood Road, according to the coroner.
Route 170 was closed in the area as emergency crews worked at the scene.
Troopers are still investigating the crash.
