UPDATE THURSDAY: Luis Alamo turned himself in to probation officers and is in custody.
SUNBURY -- Police are investigating a shooting in Northumberland County.
Officers were called to the 400 block of Race Street in Sunbury shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, a 17-year-old male was taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive.
Sunbury police are looking for the man they believe shot him.
Police say there was evidence of drug activity in the back of the house and when they got there, the people inside the home had just cleaned blood off the floor.
After he was shot, the 17-year-old victim was dropped off at the Sunbury Hospital.
Officers believe the person who dropped him off is the person who shot him. That man is Luis Alamo, 21, who goes by the street name "Ghost."
Alamo fled the hospital after dropping off the victim.
Sunbury police got a search warrant and are looking through the house.
The 17-year-old gunshot victim recovering is in the hospital.
