SCRANTON -- Some children spent the day with Scranton police officers on Martin Luther King Day.
The kids had lunch with officers at St. Mary's Center in Scranton on Monday.
Before that, the children went on a tour of the police station and saw a K-9 demonstration.
The kids also wrote positive messages on pieces of paper that police will give out to people in the community.
