Wham Cam: Jiffy?

Joe Snedeker was hanging out at the Dollar Tree and the Jiffy Lube in Scranton. Do you ever think about that word, Jiffy? Is it a real word. If so, what does it mean?

    I was taught that it was a measurement of 1/100th of a second. 1/60th seems to make more sense in terms of electronics. If we could scale the travel time of light over a nucleon without vacuum, we would be much better off defining a Jiffy. In a vacuum serves no real benefit with our present technology until we better handle our present state of mass ignorance. I respect what you are doing.
