Lycoming County Teacher Named Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year

LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP -- Pennsylvania's Teacher of the Year for 2018 is from Lycoming County.

Jennifer Wahl from Loyalsock Township High School got the news Monday.

The state Department of Education picked her from among 12 finalists.

Wahl, a social studies teacher, says she visits other countries as often as possible and tries to bring real-life experiences to her students.
