SCRANTON -- The Holiday Express hit the rails in Scranton on Saturday.

Trains pulled out of the station at the Steamtown National Historic Site for the annual tradition.

The cars were packed with about 200 eager passengers, including some kids getting their first taste of the Christmas season.

About 1,000 tickets were sold for the two-hour round trip excursion between Scranton and Moscow.
