Hunters harvested more than 650 bears statewide on the first day of bear season, according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
On Monday, the game commission released numbers and locations of bears taken on Saturday, the first day of the four-day bear season.
The statewide bear season runs through Wednesday, November 22.
