SOUTH CANAAN TOWNSHIP -- Strong winds blew through the area on Sunday.

In one part of Wayne County, the winds brought down power lines and left some people without power for part of the day.

Some who live in the community near Waymart used generators for part of the day.

The winds have calmed down slightly as crews worked to restore power to the area.
