Pipe Bursts, Flooding Personal Care Home in Scranton

SCRANTON -- The frigid weather may be to blame for a mess at a personal care home in Scranton.

A pipe that is part of the sprinkler system at Scranton Health Care Center on McCarthy Street burst overnight, flooding parts of the building.

Fire officials tell Newswatch 16 the personal care home will be able to stay open during clean up.

No patient rooms were affected.
