Scranton Man Facing Arson Charges After House Fire

SCRANTON -- Scranton police have ruled a house fire last month arson and have charged the homeowner with the alleged crime.

Police say Joshua Thomas set fire to his home on McCarthy Street in August to collect the insurance money.

Thomas is locked up in Lackawanna County facing arson-related charges as well as reckless endangerment.
