Coroner Called to Crash in Wayne County

STERLING TOWNSHIP -- The coroner has been called to a crash in Wayne County.

It happened around 9 a.m. Tuesday on Route 191 at the Hamlin/Newfoundland exit (17) of Interstate 84.

Troopers said the victim is Robert Sumpter, 65, of Cleveland, Ohio.  Investigators believe he was exiting eastbound I-84 onto Route 191 when he lost control and ended up in the woods. He died as a result of the crash.

    I used to think it was just careless drivers….I’m starting to think it’s the poorly lit and maintained roads these days…there are just too many deaths around here!!!!
