STROUD TOWNSHIP -- The main building of the abandoned Penn Hills Resort in Analomink went up in flames.
Part of Route 447 was closed as crews battled the fire.
No word on what caused the fire or if it was intentionally set. A fire marshal is investigating.
This is the third time in as many years crews have been called to investigate smoke and flames at the abandoned resort.
In may of 2016 a fire that destroyed a storage shed and adjacent building there was deemed suspicious.
And nearly three years to the day police were first called to investigate reports of someone spray painting vandalism, when crews were called for another suspicious fire.
No one was hurt in any of the incidents at Penn Hills Resort in the Poconos.
The resort was closed back in 2009.
