FOSTER TOWNSHIP -- People in one part of Luzerne County traveled back to the 1940s at Eckley Miner's Village near Freeland.
People showed up dressed in period attire, and the event featured WWII military displays and home front demos. It was all to give a fully immersive look at life during the war.
It was followed up with musicians and dancing.
