CENTRE COUNTY -- An orthopedic surgeon from State College is charged with writing prescriptions for opioids -- and they were intended for a woman who was not his patient.
Dr. Kenneth Cherry surrendered himself today in Centre County.
Authorities say he wrote 63 prescriptions for that woman, and she was revealed to be his affair partner.
