HONESDALE -- Walkers and bikers have a new bridge to cross the Lackawaxen River in Honesdale.

A crane lowered the new 6th Street pedestrian bridge into place Wednesday afternoon.

The bridge was paid for with grant money from the state.

It replaces the old span in this part of Wayne County.
