NESCOPECK TOWNSHIP -- Flames ripped through a mobile home Saturday afternoon in Luzerne County.

Firefighters responded to Wapwallopen Road in Nescopeck Township around noon.

When crews got on scene, they battled intense flames and smoke. They found a mobile home, camper, and the inside of a pickup truck all engulfed in flames.

"The trailer was on fire. When I got on scene, there were flames coming out of every door and window," said Chief Don Hess, Nescopeck Township Vol. Fire Co.

According to the fire chief, the incident is being treated as extremely suspicious because the items were not connected to one another.

A state police fire marshal is expected on scene to investigate the cause.
