Home Damaged by Fire in Schuylkill County

GIRARDVILLE — Fire damaged a home in Schuylkill County Saturday night.

Crews were called to the place on West Main Street in Girardville. The fire chief said it appears that the fire started in a bedroom.

No one was home at the time.

The chief said the cause of the fire appears to be accidental.

The home that caught fire is next door to the American Legion. The chief said that building was not damaged.
