KINGSTON -- Flames tore through a vacant home in Luzerne County early Friday.

Firefighters were called to the home in the 300 block of Chester Street in Kingston around 5:30 a.m.

According to the fire chief, the owners moved about a month ago.

Crews had a hard time putting out the flames due to the frigid temperatures.

A fire marshal is expected back at the scene to try and figure out what sparked the fire.
