FACTORYVILLE -- Tis the season of gift-giving as Keystone College students played the role of Santa's elves Wednesday.

They spent a few hours wrapping presents for senior citizens.

"For a lot of those people, this will be the only gift they get this year," said Associate Professor Terry Wise. "People all over campus shop for these folks and now we wrap it!"

"This will actually be a memory for myself, and this is something I can actually tell people back at home that I've done something good," said Elvin Jorge, a senior at Keystone College.

Over the next few days, students will deliver the gifts to Meadow View Health Care Center and Gracious Living Estates in Montrose.

"Something that the residents enjoy (is) getting a gift," said Sue Ross, activities director at Gracious Living Estates. "It's just the interacting and it's just fantastic for them."

Keystone College students wrapped about 200 presents, all donated by students, faculty and the community.
