WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP -- The bitter cold temperatures didn't stop some determined people from trying to get one of the season's hottest toys in Luzerne County.

People were lined up early Sunday morning outside Target near Wilkes-Barre.

We're told shoppers began lining up as early as Saturday night hoping to snag an elusive Hatchimal. Some tell Newswatch 16 they tried to get one last week but had no luck.

"We went to Toys R Us. We waited there for three hours. That's it," said Tationya Rodriguez of Wilkes-Barre.

Some shoppers stayed in tents and dressed in layers to keep warm while they waited for the store to open.

But yet they don’t line up daily for Jesus… You need not buy toys, food, utilities or shelter… all you need is the Lord.
