UPPER FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP — State police say a man is dead after he tried to swallow two bundles of suspected heroin.
Troopers in Lycoming County say they responded to a home in Upper Fairfield Township where two people had overdosed. The third person in the home, Matthew Gastrock, 51. was taken into custody.
Troopers say he became unresponsive and later died at the hospital, where two bundles of suspected heroin were removed from his throat.
The two overdose victims were revived at the home in Lycoming County.
