MAHONING TOWNSHIP -- Many people were out this weekend finding the perfect tree to trim for Christmas.

One tree farm in our area is helping the troops get trees of their own.

The Trees for Troops program at Yensers Tree Farm near Lehighton is an annual tradition.

People donate $25 to send locally grown Christmas trees to troops and military families.

For 11 years, the program provided nearly 200,000 trees across the U.S. and overseas.

Even if you can't make it to the tree farm, you can still make a donation by clicking here.
