FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP -- It's the time of year when many families start putting up their Christmas trees.

The owners of Kessler's Trees in Susquehanna County tell us this weekend and next weekend are the busiest times of the year for Christmas tree shopping.

At the farm near Hallstead, people were searching for the perfect evergreen to take home.

"We had a good summer. They have good color. They have grown a lot. We have more big trees this year than we have had in quite a long time, so the trees are in good shape," said Jim Kessler, Kessler's Tree Farm.

Kessler says during the first two weekends in December, he makes half of his sales for the entire year at the farm in Susquehanna County.
