WILKES-BARRE -- Thanksgiving is no day off for area police.
Cops in Wilkes-Barre say a man faces child endangerment charges. Norberto Ogando, 34, allegedly left a 5-year-old child home alone so he could go to a bar.
According to officers, they found the child wandering outside along Hazle Street early Thursday morning.
Ogando was arrested.
Police say the man also faces charges for possessing a controlled substance.
