Interstate Back Open After Crash in Susquehanna County

81 Crash

SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY — A crash on Interstate 81 in Susquehanna County shut down part of the highway for a few hours.

The crash happened around 7 p.m. Sunday on Interstate 81 northbound between the New Milford exit (223) and the Great Bend exit (230).

Both lanes of the interstate were closed for about two hours while crews cleaned up the wreck.

No injuries were reported.

According to state police, the cause of the crash appeared to be weather related.

The interstate was back open just after 9 p.m.
