TOBYHANNA TOWNSHIP -- Some people battled some wicked winds to honor veterans in Monroe County.

Monroe County Joint Veterans Honor Guard and the Pocono Lions Club had their second annual "Wreath for Veterans" ceremony Sunday afternoon in Pocono Pines.

Along with some local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, the groups laid holiday wreaths on grave sites of soldiers at the Pocono Lake Cemetery.

Family members of veterans were also invited to place a wreath on those graves.
