JESSUP -- Some people in one part of Lackawanna County have been without water most of the day on Sunday.

A water main broke along Constitution Avenue in Jessup Sunday morning.

Pennsylvania American Water tells us about three dozen customers have been without water since around 5 a.m.

Both lanes of Constitution Avenue were closed for most of the day to allow crews to repair the break, which requires replacing a large section of that pipe.

A water tanker is set up nearby for people without water.

The repairs were completed by 9 p.m. Sunday. The water company is working to get water service restored to the affected customers.
