WNEP Honored at National Philanthropy Luncheon

SCRANTON -- WNEP-TV was honored to accept an award Friday at the National Philanthropy Day luncheon in Scranton.

On the station's behalf, Mindi Ramsey, Ryan Leckey and Joe Snedeker accepted the Association of Fundraising Professionals Award for Outstanding Corporation.

There were also several other awards given out for those who put their communities first with philanthropy in mind.

The Lifetime Achievement award was given to former First Lady of Pennsylvania, Mary L. Scranton, posthumously, while the Outstanding Youth in Philanthropy Award went to OurDash.

    And Snediker says yesterday on WILK at 7:50am that he hates going to these events——-isn’t that nice ?! it is all about Joe and what Joe wants. But Joe is a liberal/atheist and WNEP sees something there i guess
