WATSONTOWN -- A man is facing charges after police say he impersonated a police officer and solicited a minor for prostitution.

Watsontown police said James St. Clair, 35, of Lewisburg contacted a 17-year-old girl on social media, went to her home, and told her he was a cop.

Police said he had sexual conversations with the girl and offered her money for sex.

Investigators said it happened on multiple occasions back in October.

St. Clair is charged with impersonating a police officer, unlawful contact with a minor, soliciting a minor for prostitution, criminal use of a communication facility, and corruption of minors.

According to police, the investigation may lead to more charges and victims.
