STROUDSBURG -- A special ceremony was held to honor veterans in Monroe County.
The Veterans of the Vietnam War, PA Post 57 teamed up with Cub Scouts Packs 86 and 300 at the Dreher Avenue Cemetery in Stroudsburg Saturday afternoon.
The groups spent part of their day replacing all the flags at veterans' graves in the cemetery.
"They're not only important people, but they're people that served in the war and lost their lives to give us freedom," said Jacob Christman of Stroudsburg.
The ceremony concluded with the playing of Taps.
