MILFORD -- The man accused of ambushing state troopers in Pike County will head to trial next year.

Jury selection for Eric Frein is set for March 9, 2017 in Chester County, outside of Philadelphia.  A judge ruled earlier this year that a jury should be brought in from outside the area.

Frein is accused of killing one state trooper and badly hurting another at Blooming Grove state police barracks in September 2014.

Frein was captured after a seven-week search in Monroe and Pike Counties.
