DIY Halloween Costumes

Whether you’re looking to save some dough or just come up with something different this Halloween, Newswatch 16’s Ryan Leckey teamed up with a few savvy students in Susquehanna County to cook up some creative costume ideas.

Blue Ridge High School near New Milford brought some spooktacular suggestions to life found on Pinterest!

The students showed us several ones on Newswatch 16 This Morning including a gumball machine,  dirty laundry basket, zombie, social butterfly, legos, and a basketball shoot. Check out the video clips to learn how to put them together.

Blue Ridge High School Graduate Eric Lusk also shared some special effects pointers on Newswatch 16.  Lusk won an Emmy Award for his use with prosthetics/makeup.  He's worked on TV shows such as "House" and "C.S.I."   The NEPA native also runs a haunted house called "Hellstead Manor" in the Hallstead area.  Learn more here!
