FRANCES SLOCUM STATE PARK -- Pet lovers flocked to Luzerne County to warm the hearts of some animals.
The SPCA of Luzerne County hosted its annual Walk for the Animals at Frances Slocum State Park on Saturday.
A blessing of the pets kicked off the event at 11 a.m.
The money raised from both the walk and a raffle will help the SPCA take care of the pets living at the shelter.
SPCA officials say the Walk for the Animals is the organization's biggest fundraiser of the year.
