For the first time in the campaign’s seven years, WNEP’s Ryan’s Run has an honorary furry member.  His name is MetCon. He’s a Goldendoodle who just happens to be the fur-baby of Newswatch 16’s Ryan Leckey who spearheads WNEP’s charity campaign. WNEP’S Ryan’s Run benefits kids and adults with disabilities served by Allied Services.

MetCon has appeared on Newswatch 16 This Morning several times during various pet segments and this weekend is your chance to meet this fur-ball in person! You can meet MetCon this Saturday, October 1, at CrossFit 570 at 151 Terrace Drive in Olyphant (inside "The Spectrum") during a charity workout event. You can drop into the charity workout from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Photos with MetCon are scheduled from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. for a $5.00 donation.

If you can't make the event, you can donate in MetCon's honor by clicking here! Also at that link, you can read MetCon's bio and learn the meaning behind his name.
