President of Bloomsburg University Announces Retirement

BLOOMSBURG — The president of Bloomsburg University has announced that he is retiring as president at the end of the 2016-17 academic year.

David Soltz has been with the university for nine and a half years.

This past summer the board of governors extended his contract through 2019.

Wednesday morning Soltz told the Bloomsburg University Council of Trustees that he was to retire at the end of the school year.
