KINGSTON -- Two classrooms at Wyoming Valley West Middle School in Luzerne County are closed because of mold.

The school on Chester Street in Kingston hired a contractor to test for mold after a teacher complained about an odor in the classroom.

Administrators tell us the classrooms will be cleaned over the weekend and additional tests will be done on rooms in the basement.

If everything goes as planned, the classrooms should reopen Monday.
