WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP -- A man accused of holding a woman and her children captive in Schuylkill County has been caught.
State police said Christopher Benjamin was taken into custody on Wednesday in the area of Raven Run Road and Lost Creek Road in West Mahanoy Township.
Investigators said Benjamin beat the 31-year-old woman in the woods and held her along with her 4-year-old and 1-year-old children against her will last month.
Troopers said Benjamin is the father of the younger child.
There’s no word what, if any, charges Benjamin will face.
