Hazleton Rotary Club Wine & Beer Festival
Hazleton Rotary Club sponsors the Wine & Beer Festival at the Hazle Township Babe Ruth Field on Hazle Township Boulevard on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. You must be 21 years to attend. Live music is provided by Ostrich Hat & Kartune. All Proceeds benefit Hazleton Rotary Club community service projects. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and $5 for a designated driver (non-drinking admission). Purchase tickets from hazletonrotary.ticketleap.com or from a Rotary Club member.
Ethnic Food Festival
St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church sponsors the Ethnic Food Festival on Zerby Ave. in Edwardsville on Saturday, Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Food Festival features goulash, halupki, halushki, pierogi, pagach, Pulled Pork, potato pancakes, clam chowder & more. The event also includes a bake sale of homemade bread & homemade bake goods, games for kids, crafts & theme baskets. Attendance is free.
