The city of Pittston is gearing up to host its ninth annual RiverFest. The event runs this Saturday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. The majority of the activity takes place along the Susquehanna River just off of Kennedy Boulevard in Pittston. It's behind Cooper's Seafood House. Pittston's RiverFest has a huge focus on celebrating our area's heritage. Vendors range from civil war buffs to Native American historians to booths that highlight the Knox Mine disaster.
