WILKES-BARRE -- Newswatch 16 got a look at the artist renderings for an expanded Kistler Elementary School in Wilkes-Barre.
The sketches were available at a meeting of the Wilkes-Barre Zoning Hearing Board.
That board was set to consider proposed changes to Kistler Elementary School to make room for seventh and eighth graders, but that has been delayed until next month.
The vote had to be delayed because there were not enough members to vote at the meeting. There were only four members and two of them recused themselves from voting because one works the school district and another has family members who work for the district.
The Kistler expansion is part of the plan to build a new high school consolidating Coughlin and Meyers high schools.
The board hopes to hold a vote at its meeting on August 17.
