HAZLETON -- Police were called to an area near the Beech Street Playground around 7:30 p.m. Sunday for a shooting.
One person was hurt and was being treated at the hospital for minor injuries.
Officers were looking for the gunman and investigating the scene.
The Lehigh Valley Hospital in Hazleton was on lockdown for a short time following the shooting.
There is no word on the victim's condition, if anyone is in custody, or what led up to the shooting here in Hazleton.
