LOYALSOCK TOWNSHIP -- A popular ice cream shop in Lycoming County is closing after more than 20 years of business.
The Carvel on the Golden Strip near Williamsport plans to serve its last ice cream cone this Saturday.
The owner told Newswatch 16 sales are actually up, but it's time for him to move on from the business. He has already helped several of his employees find new jobs.
The Carvel location closest to the one closing near Williamsport is in Wilkes-Barre.
