Firefighters Battle Smoky Fire in Scranton

SCRANTON -- Firefighters battled flames and smoke in Scranton's south side Friday evening.

Crews were called to Kennedy Tire and Auto on Cedar Avenue just before 8 p.m.

Smoke billowed from the building and could be seen for miles including Scranton's west side and even as far away as Taylor.

There were no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
